Job Summary :

The Hotel Front Desk Supervisor at DoubleTree Deerfield Beach, FL is a full-time, hourly position in the hotel / hospitality industry.

As a key member of our customer service team, the Front Desk Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and upholding the hotel's standards of service.

This individual contributor role is located in Deerfield Beach, Florida and offers a competitive hourly wage of $18 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and support front desk associates in daily operations, ensuring excellent guest service and efficiency
  • Train and onboard new front desk team members, ensuring they understand hotel procedures and standards
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guests' needs are met and any issues are resolved
  • Oversee and reconcile cash and credit card transactions at the front desk
  • Ensure accuracy of room reservations, room assignments, and guest information in the hotel's system
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
  • Collaborate with management to create and implement policies and procedures for front desk operations
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to front desk staff
  • Act as a liaison between management and front desk team, communicating any issues or concerns

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
